Is there a problem with freezing meat? Or freezing cooked food to eat at a later date?

I'm wondering if this is a poor person thing or something.

I generally buy in bulk to save money since I need to budget, and it saves me time not having to shop for food daily or weekly.

Is this not normal?

@nonsensiclesnail I'm getting paranoid now because it's become a major issue in my home. Apparently meat tastes weird when reheated?
Surely some takeaway is reheated? So what's the difference?
@Mellowgirl Perhaps is it that your fridge/freezer has a funny smell? sometimes fridge smells can't taint the flavor.

@Mellowgirl I will not eat frozen meat.

@nonsensiclesnail umm honestly I've not noticed it. It's not been mentioned and no other guest has ever complained.
It's not a very deep freezer it's a combined one so it's limited as to what I can keep in there. So I have to be selective you know.

@Iwillwait well I presume you prefer it to thaw out first?

@nonsensiclesnail oh and my meat never has freezer burn. I don't even think I'd know what that looks like since I don't leave it in there that long.

@Mellowgirl I'll pass.
