Do you have a favourite brand of chocolate?

I'm a big fan of Lindt.

Im not a fan of American chocolate when I was over there I really struggled with the taste.
But I think it will always be Cadburys.
It's the only chocolate that I think is nice. It's the right balance of sweet and chocolate, The melting point is pretty good and it's incredibly smooth.
I used to eat darker chocolates for the health 'benefits' but I'm yet to find one that I Could eat as regularly as dairy milk.
Green and blacks is close but I treat that as a luxury.

@Peppa I'm American and I concur that American chocolate truly sucks.

@NigelDoes do you still eat it, or have any kind imported?
NigelDoes · 56-60, M
@Peppa I generally only eat imported chocolate either from Belgium or Switzerland but I do like Cadbury which is also made in the US now

@NigelDoes ahhh that must be such a treat... Also well done to Cadbury for cashing in. Its a shame though because it seems exclusive is a dying trend

@Peppa I read an interesting article a few years ago it said most British kids prefer the American made version of Cadbury whilst American kids preferred the British made one. That just seems wrong somehow. Hehe

@NigelDoes very bizzare, I think personally its the type of oil used in American chocolate. But i think in the UK, we currently have a sugar issue. Everything contains too much sugar, maybe American chocolate is more regulated? Better balance on flavour?

@Peppa our chocolate sucks so I doubt that's the case. 😎 It's a mystery. I only eat imported Cadbury chocolate. I tried the American version and I didn't think it was nearly as good.
