What's the best way to stop your partner from snoring like a bellowing elephant with indigestion ?

AbbeyRhode · F
Be grateful that you have him to hug and hold, kiss him, and buy earplugs.
Nimbus · M
@AbbeyRhode There is that! ;)
You make a pocket on the back of their sleepwear. In the middle of the back. Then you place a tennis ball in it. The person cannot sleep on their back this way. They turn. Problem solved. Oh, a practical method is to get them evaluated for conditions such as sleep apnea, etc. Then one can solve that. Scientifically.

The ex and I used to run the air conditioner, or the fan all night every night, for the white noise. I wore ear plugs in addition to the white noise, but there were some nights when I had to go out and sleep on the sofa. His sleep apnea machine was even worse. No sudden massive snorts, but the hiss and wheeze of the machine was disturbing. I could hear it through the ear plugs.
Nimbus · M
@4meAndyou Oh my, sounds like a nightmare ;)
4meAndyou · F
@Nimbus Yes...yes he was...😂😂😂
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Dutch oven 😂
Nimbus · M
@cherokeepatti For sure! 😆
WillaKissing · 56-60
Roll over and grab her breast asking her if she just called you for sex. LOL

Disclaimer: This may cause you other issues though!
Nimbus · M
@WillaKissing Oh, interesting!
Did this work for you?
WillaKissing · 56-60
@Nimbus You know as well as I do that you better be wearing your sports cup for her swift kick to your balls for waking her up out of a deep sleep.

PS: It stopped the snoring but like I said it caused other issues!

Simple. Separate bedrooms.
Nimbus · M
@NoThanksLeon That would work! ;)
nedkelly · 61-69, M
I can go sleep in another bedroom
Nimbus · M

Nimbus · M
@smiler2012 I'd rather not, thanks all the same 😆
In my case earplugs 🤭
Nimbus · M
@Nimbus Mrs. Smiler? 🤭🏃
Nimbus · M
@BritishFailedAesthetic The least said, the better ;)
There are none …. Sleep in a separate room ….
Nimbus · M
@Soossie Awwww, kinda sad but practical I guess.
@Nimbus

Eating light meal for supper, 4 hours before going to bed plus sleeping on her side could probably help tho …
Nimbus · M
@Soossie Interesting and certainly worth a try.
WandererTony · 56-60, M
Squeeze the nostrils and hold 😄
Nimbus · M
@WandererTony If you don't get a response after 5 minutes the worst has happened 😆
WandererTony · 56-60, M
@Nimbus oh no! You don’t need to go that far. 😳

Actually I am the snorer in the family. So it’s my wife’s remedy. Now you know why I don’t fancy your suggestion 😄
Sleeping on your back makes snoring worse

They say lift the head of the bed so your head is higher than your feet is supposed to help. Though I'm not sure.

Some people swear by devices I keep your mouth shut, but I worry about them then getting enough oxygen

Also look into if they have sleep apnea

Sleep in a different house. Probably on a different street. I used to use earplugs. But more recently solved the problem permanently by going deaf..😷
Nimbus · M
@whowasthatmaskedman True but most likely to be very expensive :)

l Now that's the least expensive ;)
Thodsis · 51-55, M
An oily finger up the bum.

It'll encourage your partner to roll over.

Or split up with you...
Nimbus · M
@Thodsis You romantic, you! ;)
Thodsis · 51-55, M
@Nimbus I didn't compare my partner to an elephant.. :)
Primnproper · 56-60, F
Just make sure you get to sleep first then it doesnt matter..
Lilymoon · F
Tell him to roll over 😒
Nimbus · M
@Lilymoon Does it work?
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
Nimbus · M
@Picklebobble2 Yep, no one can argue with that ;)
calicuz · 51-55, M
Roll them over.
Nimbus · M
@calicuz If it were only that easy! 😆
Nimbus · M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Heavy going but it would work :)
Thodsis · 51-55, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I don't think that's the best way to encourage a massive fart.

But I'd love to see the front row reaction...
GoddessLinaStardust · 31-35, F
Maybe take them to a sleep doctor? It's a sign of sleep apnea.

@OlderSometimesWiser It will work but kinda drastic?
@Nimbus I like to be sure.
