Has anyone experienced this?

So I live next to one of my cousins, a guy, 2years younger. Anyway since he moved back to his parents house 2 years ago we've had arguments here and there. But every time after the argument when one of us turns around to leave (while we're still mad at each other). He always has to to tell me May God Bless you. He doesn't mean it in a sincere way. He uses it to be spiteful and get the last jab in there. I've told him that I don't use words that are meant as a holy gesture as a come back. Now he wants me to apologize.

I'm not sure I've ever argued with any of my 11 cousins or either of my siblings in adulthood and some of them are definitely a different political flavor.

Admittedly we're all not that close but whenever there's been a family function we've all always got along great.

I certainly wouldn't apologize just because someone felt I should, and especially not over pointing out their poor behavior.

@Starcrossed my 7 cousins grew up 100 ft away from us . So you'd think we were all really close. But no. My 2 girl cousins get along fine. 2 of the 7 died and the other 3 look out for themselves. Yet when we have to be together with people a couple always introduced me as a part of their family. Recently I've told them to not include me as part of their family because they don't treat me like family.
