Am I imagining things, or did my new car just say “traffic ahead“ roughly a quarter mile before I hit the congested portion of the freeway? 😮

If I am stopped behind someone at a red light, when the light turns green and the car in front of moves, a message comes on in my car telling the vehicle in front of has moved and I can go ahead now.
IMO, all this new technology is taking away the need to have actual driving skills. I don't like it.

My car knows the speed limit and complains if I start to exceed it..only in areas with certain signs🤔 Glad yer enjoying yer new ride!

If it says; 'In half a mile let me out.' You know your driving is bad.

You aint seen nothing yet.. thats just vehicle to vehicle connectivity..

Theyre working on vehicle to infrastructure connectivity. All new cars going out now will be able to have a software update once the infrastructure is rolled out..

I.e. - redlights forcing you to stop if youre going to speed through it.

Your cars navigation system would have said that. What make of car do you drive?

Ask it to open the pod bay doors and see what it says..😷
