Remember kids, the most important thing going on is the protests, not the issue they are protesting.

@CountScrofula I love that old chestnut when people complain about protesting.

"I agree with their cause but the way they are going about it."

What are you doing to call address to the issue you agree is an issue sweetheart? Nothing? Ohh okay, you keep doing nothing while complaining about others trying something and see how it goes.

@MethDozer I wrote an article a while ago about this and something I found is how much people used that line on civil rights protests.
@CountScrofula Establishment Liberals always support historical civil rights movements, but never the current civil rights movement. The current one is just so radical!

Years from now, when the modern Democrats are ancient, they'll be talking about how they were cheering on those protesters at Columbia.
@CountScrofula Civil rights is a whole different ball game…the most peaceful protest was "taking a knee": No property was damaged, no traffic was stopped, nobody got hurt and there was no noise.

People still found a way to have a problem with it.
That it was suggested by a veteran and denounced by a draft dodger didn’t stop them from claiming that it was "disrespectful" to veterans. 🙄
