Well, last night the church I go to for Wednesday bible study with my wife went to a joint event for the association at another church!
It was really organised- we got tea and biscuits before we even came in and the hall created a perfect environment to mingle with others from other churches- great fellowship with family in Christ!
The notes:
. We don't get more enthusiastic for God, etc by ourselves, that is the holy spirit working through us!
. A church one of the speakers went to only consisted of three members- well, those members prayed and today it is a lively church. The first new member to come after they prayed was a missionary- who trained three pastors working at our association!
. It was encouraging to hear of the amount of secular people expressing interest in going to church- let us pray they get drawn to Christ.

I love the way that church grew from three members to a larger congregation. That's the Lord working alright. Sounds like a very dedicated group. That's what we need today.
