Conjoined Twin Nightmare

A pair of conjoined twins in Java in the 19th century shared enough brain tissue, that one twin learned how to “make” thoughts the other twin could receive. This other twin had a pathological fear of snakes. When he and his twin got into an argument, the more powerful twin would implant visions of snakes into his brother, making him hysterical with fear.

One evening, after being tortured by his brother, the victim twin stabbed the powerful twin in the eye with a ceremonial dagger. Unfortunately, this stabbing twin experienced the pain. Two two died of sepsis from a subsequent infection.

Before death, as revenge, the stabbed twin implanted hours of visions of writhing, fornicating snakes.

They say on quiet nights, when the moon is in waning gibbous, you can still hear the terrible shrieks of horror, and the gleeful giggling of revenge.

Like a gothic opera, haunting the ages…
