People on bumble just want more followers and pen-pals

I hate when I chat with someone, sending and receiving a couple of messages a day for an entire week, then take initiative and invite them somewhere related to what we have chatted about, and then I never hear back from them. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Sorry for the run-on sentence.

I don't understand the apprehension of these people.

You literally downloaded a friend-making app, filled out a profile, went thru and swiped on people you could consider being friends with. You chat with them, but you don't want to leave your house to meet them.💁🏾‍♀️
Makes no sense.

❗You can request that they verify their profile photo prior to meeting with them. I always do
Photos are verified by humans, per bumble.

But, I always have backup plans nowadays.
I'll be going to the event alone as usual 🙄

I was just thinking about how impossible it is to make any friends anymore today. All the apps and sites are like this 😔

I have a couple close friends who live many miles away and apart from that I have no friends. Apparently it's commonplace now.
I gave it a few weeks, then I quit bumble, every match I had was disappointing.

People don't seem to like the getting to know each other part.
Thought bumble was a dating app?
@itsok ohhh didn’t know that!

@Jenny1234 they have a friend-making mode, networking mode and dating mode. I only use the former.

too many people on those apps waste time so I stopped using them
