We both learned a lot. Like our worldview was clearly different but we actually were really interested in why we believed so many different things. We were on the same page with a lot of things tho.

I think it's good to talk to ppl who are diff from you in every way. It reminds us that we're all human. He was a monogamous gay dude, so I respect that. The only ppl i'm genuinely prejudice against are polyamorous people, I have no respect for them.
