Matt85 · 36-40, M
how did you drop cookies in your neighbours garden
@Matt85 😳 i wsnted to see if they'd grow
Are those dinosaurs or aliens?
@Ghostinthemachine like lil aliens emerging 😳

Lol cicadas
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
I saw the Mississippi kites last week flying in circles around this neighborhood. They will hunt for cicadas and feed them to their young. They return every late spring through early fall and their populations have increased each year. I hope they help take care of the two types of cicadas that are hatching out this year.
They remain buried for years then emerge…like War of the Worlds.
So aliens 👽
@Ghostinthemachine imma about to be invaded superhero 😩
@Bexsy I’ll be there in a Flash!

Wow....your back yard is Missoury???!!! That’s huge!
DragonFruit · 61-69, M
@Bexsy I actually lived in Missouri at one time....and I didn’t even know! 😁
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
My yard (also Missouri) is dotted with mounds erupting from the earth and messing with my lawn, but I've yet to see any of the bugs there, not even a discarded casing.

In between the parking garage and my office, though, they're lining the street.
@DunningKruger didn't see them yesterday. Today. Everywhere. Betya tonight. You'll see them
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
@Bexsy I'll look.

Those cicadas look very big. I've never seen them that large before. What part of Missouri?
@IM5688 I'm zoomed in
They're on an inch metal pipe
IM5688 · 61-69, M
@Bexsy They still look much bigger than the ones we get here.
@IM5688 they were pretty big. I will admit
Barefooter25 · 46-50, M
What did you do??? Those cookies must have had radioactivity or genetically engineered ingredients to make those roaches look that big!!!
@Barefooter25 im zoomed in. That is like an 1 inch pipe
I'm in central missouri and haven't seen a single one yet
@Bexsy I guess I need to spend more time outside. This weekend I might just go hunting for em
@SooperSarah they were worse tonight on back porch 😟
@Bexsy I took the dogs out around 10 and it was just moths and gnats flying around
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
Copperheads like to eat Cicadas so be careful around oak trees, pine needles and leaves where they could be hiding and camouflaged.
Notsimilarreally · 31-35, F
That's a serious close up of bugs, right?
@Notsimilarreally lol yeah zoomed because wasn't sure could see them or not. Cicadas. Heres the actual picture unzoomed
Notsimilarreally · 31-35, F
@Bexsy tripped me out for a second because I thought..wait is that a fence posts? Those cicadas do get big in them parts. I had a little puppy who would find them and eat them 🙄 was so gross
@Notsimilarreally lol yuck glad my dog ignores them
Ontheroad · M
