A project of analyzing the demographics of perpetrators of sex crimes against children is almost finished.

The goal was to categorize 10,000 offenders accused or convicted in the USA with substantial proof and that was reached after a little under a year and a half. Preliminary results show that family and acquaintances are by far the biggest danger, followed by teachers and church employees. Politicians were a small factor, although MUCH bigger than drag queens or transgender people, but of the politicians contributing, more than 71% was associated with the republican party and 9 out of 10 states with the most sexual abuse of children per capita have a republican state government.

One final step in this project is essential for an objective view though: the removal of accused people who where acquitted. Most cases included already are convictions, but the remaining mere accusations being removed from the list could sway the statistics slightly. The last court decision to finalize the results should be published in a couple of weeks, but the possible exclusion of a few instances is not expected to make a huge difference.

So if you really want to protect the children, you know whom to keep your children away from: it's not drag queens and transgender people, but church employees and republican leaning family members and friends.

I always knew they were the culprit. They don't want people to learn and own their sexuality and they want to subjugate women as well as kids.

So...every accusation is a confession?
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@trollslayer I think he said they were convicted sex offenders.
@JimboSaturn most are, but some are still accusations (for now).
@trollslayer pretty much. The majority of accusations that turned out to be true where performed by republicans, conservatives and religious people. Only 6 out 10,000 where done by transgender people and drag queens. Pretty low percentage to justify their targeting of that entire group while not turning on groups they belong to with fellow members that were involved in 1000+ cases...

Whoever volunteers to chaperone kids on a trip? They shouldn’t go.

Sad. But not surprised.

As I suspected ...
Its amazing how many crimes are committed by someone who is close to the victim:
Burglary
Theft
Battery
Murder
Sexual assualt
Rape
Stalking
Arson
Vandalism
- there's more but i forget .
@OogieBoogie yep, that's spot on. ☹️ But the solution is clearly not warning people about those they are close to. It's dehumanizing already marginalized groups of course... 🙄

@basilfawlty89 I hope so, although I doubt it. They'll just completely ignore the opportunity to add any missed cases with democrats, transgender people and drag queens as the offender, which they didn't add because they have no sources, and then call it biased and invalid.

@JimboSaturn family members and friends are by far the most common culprits along the board, but there's a very considerably higher risk when those are republican leaning or employed by a church. That's of course not to say that a majority of republican family members/friends, church employees or republicans in general are dangerous. I'm in favor of evaluating people rather than groups. But if someone insists on keeping their children away from entire groups, avoiding republicans and church employees prevents abuse a thousand more times than avoiding drag queens or transgender people.
