Nope wasn't part of the EP crowd. I came from Amirite which was a hot mess.

I left Amirite and stumbled upon this place in 2016 after dealing with some bull there.

I am still here after my original purpose in February was to delete my account 😒

i was on EP for awhile, left before it got shutdown. I went back one day to sign in..... then realized it was gone. heard about this place on google, or something like that. this was back in 2016. been here ever since.

I was on EP, and after it shuttered, rumors went around a replacement was being worked on. I tried some site called Answer Mug, but that was small, and a bit too clique.

I like SW. There's some interesting and nice Sweeps here. Just the right amount of craziness IMO. Oddly enough, the person who ran EP recommended Reddit, and I'm really surprised at that. Reddit has some interesting subs, however, it can also be a shit show.

My brother died, my grief was taking over, and therapy was not working, it made it worse, so I googled chat sites with like minded people. People who suffer like myself. Similar worlds came up. I checked it out, didn't like it, but someone reached out to me and I started to get to know wonderful users here. Some have gone, but I am forever grateful for their compassion and understanding.

I was on The Experience Project a long time ago and really enjoyed it. I was chatting with someone and they recommended Similar Worlds to me. I signed up and realized the relationship between EP and SW.

@ArtieKat If you were there on Exp Pro, after they closed the site they had stated on their board on the website that they were making this Site and that you could transfer all your content to this site when it launched. This profile is my EP profile. I did not make a profile for this site because it was transferred from EP

@NiteRaven93 Part of what you say is true: I also transferred my content from EP to SW - but there is, nonetheless, no evidence that the owners (and designers of SW) had any involvement with setting up or running EP. Furthermore, if there had been closer links between the 2 sites then I very much doubt that SW would have had the teething problems it did. Even simple things like Private Messaging took a while for Andrew and Nuno to sort out. I think you are drawing the wrong conclusions from the data available.
