Waiting for the tourists to get settled in the restaurants and bars so I can go grocery shopping.

People move in predictable masses. And you learn so you can get around town easily with minimal involvement in their herd.
Always wondered how much the locals hated us tourists, for example, where you’re at and Cape Cod. Or if it’s more of a love/hate relationship because we contribute to the economy.
@SW-User That’s really awful, understandable why you’re angry and want to get the hell out of there. Sometimes I wonder if these developers won’t be happy until there’s not a tree, forest or plot of preserved/native land left. Unfortunately as long as there’s a demand, there’ll be a supply. People never seem to learn.

@OlderSometimesWiser I thought I'd never leave Delaware. I loved it here. But it is completely different.

They've started tearing down the older stuff. The older houses don't sell. People can pay the same price for a brand new house, with no lie, cardboard walls. In this moldy musty swamp 😂

It's going to backfire eventually. The ocean is wild queen and throwing millions of tons of weight on sand and swamp is asking for it. These cardboard houses, you can see them warping in the humidity, siding waving and falling off.

Just the pollution in the ocean alone is sad.

I hate to leave her, the ocean. I feel like she's the only one who understands me.
@SW-User The ocean is magical, no doubt about it. And tough to leave. But I do hope you’ll find health, peace, understanding and happiness in the magic of the desert. 🙂

That's kind of bizarre to have to do that ..

But smart ..

I know Tuesdays at 6 pm , our store is almost barren of people most of the time , that's when I like to shop ...
