One of the most common requests from homeless people here is underwear. It is also the most common request from charities. Like after houses burn down, hurricanes and storms come through.

The person could be a prick trying to save a few bucks, butit's very possible they are in need.

That stuff is very useful, yet expensive. Add poverty into the mix and it's an understandable act. (Not to be confused with acceptable though. Poverty needs to be solved differently.)
