I'm crying my eyes out.

Remember when I said my boss cut my hours. Two weeks ago. She said that she had to cut my off for Saturday. And then last week she put me on the schedule and then took me off. I went in today. One day. And I said it's Thursday can I have my check early like last time. She says sure. And she looks and says I'm not in there. I'm like u literally gave me my check on Thursday. That means no matter what on the 6th I should get something. She's like ur right. But she couldn't do anything. And even though I only worked 8 hours. That's still money I made. And I have proof. But she said she can't do anything. I'm going to see miss Yawn tomorrow.

This is wage theft. Ask again and record the conversation on your phone that they know you worked and also won't pay, and then contact the Department of Labor federally and also your state's body that is responsible for dealing with wage theft. Google report wage theft and it will give you the result for your state.

This is an economy where many businesses are hurting for workers and are willing to pay more. You will be able to get a job at a business that honors its basic legal obligation to pay you for services rendered. This one deserves to be buried.

So that could be a serious wage theft problem. You just need to go in and set expectations on -when- you get your check. If it's gonna be at the normal time (rather than early) you just have to wait which sucks because fuck they aren't giving you hours.

If they will NEVEr give you your check, let me know I can help you with a complaint and how to get it back.

Workers should document every hour they work. I saw Walmart employees who had worked there for awhile writing their hours in a notebook each time they clocked in and out.

I know it’s frustrating but I think you should put your energy into finding another job.

Also tell her if she doesn’t pay you you’ll report her to labor board and tell her you have proof (I’ve done this more times than Im proud of and always got paid too. 😌)

Time to take pictures of your time sheet! That way you have irrefutable proof! Writing it down isn't good enough. Because it's just your word against theirs.

Once a week should be good though before you turn it in.

It sounds like you really need another job with better management. My managers were utterly shit as well, bad irresponsible managers ruin jobs.

Can miss Yawn handle this?
Otherwise you'd need to report them. 😩
