I Want to Work From Home

I have an independent contracting position that is ending on the 31st of this month, and I have been with it since last March. This was bad news because it was unexpected, as the contract is ongoing, but the side project they had with a chat program was what I was working on. I should have looked for something else, but didn't think it would be necessary. Now I am back to square 1 and no one else seems like they want to give me a chance. Recovery from this is going to be a long process. The debt is just piling up.
