Yes, if it's part of an intentional plan to do so.
That's at the higher end of the scale and is supposed to be a rate which allows your body to better handle the changing amounts of skin (so you are less likely to look like the "biggest loser" people who need "plastic" surgery to remove huge bits of loose skin).

It's too much and it can lead to other health issues.
Losing weight should ideally be gradual.

1-2 lbs a week is a healthy amount
@midnightrose 2x26 = 52lbs. That's not far off.

If you were overweight and needed to lose that much it is good, but it does seem a lot.
I wish I could comment more, but that seems a lot and maybe an unhealthy goal?
