Let's not resort to violence, but use the systems in place instead

But then for CEOs and clients alike of course. A catchy song about recent events.

The system is rigged. They can hand down a death sentence in a 3 piece suit and the average person has zero recourse.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Personally I agree with you. But its not technically criminal if the law wont prosecute. It will be interesting to see what happens with this gentleman who is charged with shooting the health Insurance CEO. Where are they going to find a jury???😷

And anyone who believes the private sector is efficient and doesn't have bureaucracy is just dishonest or crazy.
True. But middle managers, who are the biggest problem with bureaucracies because they only care about their little fiefdom, are easier to remove in the private sector -- where they are not protected by unions -- than in government -- where they are protected by Civil Service statutes.

And there is a reason why literally every developed nation and most developing nations have rejected the American approach. This is not an accident.

Also true. But then a good portion of the early years in my career were spent touring executives from those foreign nations to learn how the nonprofit I worked for was doing it and adapting those learnings to their own systems. While for-profit insurers and fee-for-service medicine is the predominant "American approach" it is not the only one.

Also the US "non profit" system is hopelessly broken.

Granted, non-profit status is abused like every other loophole in our dysfunctional tax code. I was using the term more in terms of the culture -- the health care program was established and developed to be community based, emphasizing preventive health care services, with no shareholders or others having an incentive to maximize profits. There were no profits. Only earnings required to maintain and expand facilities and technology as needed.
