I Went To Renew My Driver’s License Monday…

The clerk asked if I wanted to renew it for 4 years or 8 years. Then she looked at my birth date and said I was old enough to get it for free so I might as well get the 8 year license. They charge $77 for the 8-year license. I was feeling pretty happy cause I saved a lot of money that I wouldn’t have to pay again. That was a short-lived thought because it occurred to me at my age in 8 years I could be dead by then. I’ve known a lot of people who died in their mid-70’s. Such a morbid thought isn’t it?

@HootyTheNightOwl It’s not bad here at the one I usually go to. I have also gone to one at the little town south of here, it’s usually not busy and then there is one in south OKC that I’ve gone to when I was working at a car lot. Got my license and tags renewed there a few times.
