mechanics are dumbasses pretty often

I was putting together the treadmill I just bought and remembered about something.

Back when I was only a mechanic I noticed that the concept of leverage was like big science to many of my coworkers.

They would just continue to push on wrenches till they were red in the face instead of merely taking two wrenches together to apply more torque on a bolt.

I know this seems super basic but I used to see this all the time.
