How many vehicles have you had?
I have been thru an astonishing number of vehicles.😆🔧 I buy cheap broken things and drive them into the ground. I have never had a new vehicle, and I have never paid over $1000, often as little as $200.

@UnderLockDown The AMC Hornet was a problematic rust bucket…but it wouldn’t die!! Frame finally rotted on it.

I would guess maybe 25 in all that I drove daily, Another few bought to split into parts ( nice sideline earner) My first car cost me £30. That might be $40.
I bought the car from my cousin before I passed my test. It was a Hillman Imp.. That was in 1976.... Edited to include date

@Stereoguy The first was a POS Ford Taurus that the third ex bought for me. It had to have its transmission replaced twice! The second was a used 2004 Honda Accord, and I picked it out myself after doing my research. So far it has been a really great decision. I still have it, and it has needed VERY few repairs.

@TryingtoLava I think the least I ever paid was around $35, a few at $50, once paid $200 for a car with a new motor and transmission. A few of mine have been motorcycles too, they can be found for very little sometimes.
