@Stereoguy My yard looks like a car lot. Seriously. 😂

@UnderLockDown The AMC Hornet was a problematic rust bucket…but it wouldn’t die!! Frame finally rotted on it.

5 or 6 ... a few Hondas, a Saturn, Pariesienne and Mazda
LunarOrbit · 56-60, M
@Lilymoon My b-i-l had a brand new ‘79 Parisienne. I called it the pimp mobile. All white with red velour interior. I think we fit 10 people in that car once.

@LunarOrbit I had a hard time getting used to a tiny uncomfortable Honda after that car 😆
LunarOrbit · 56-60, M
@Lilymoon Yeah. Hard to stretch out in those!

I would guess maybe 25 in all that I drove daily, Another few bought to split into parts ( nice sideline earner) My first car cost me £30. That might be $40.
I bought the car from my cousin before I passed my test. It was a Hillman Imp.. That was in 1976.... Edited to include date

I have seldom had one that was just mine, and didn't also belong to my father or one of three husbands. So I have only had TWO whose papers were in my name.

@Stereoguy The first was a POS Ford Taurus that the third ex bought for me. It had to have its transmission replaced twice! The second was a used 2004 Honda Accord, and I picked it out myself after doing my research. So far it has been a really great decision. I still have it, and it has needed VERY few repairs.

My first and only car, cost $60. Registering it costed $240. Checked out by the mechanics even more. Had it about 2 weeks before it was stolen. And that was that.

@Dshhh I've had a few nice cars, after I rebuilt them.😎🔧
I haven't kept track but at least 10 at this point
You bought a car for 20$
UnderLockDown · M
@TryingtoLava I think the least I ever paid was around $35, a few at $50, once paid $200 for a car with a new motor and transmission. A few of mine have been motorcycles too, they can be found for very little sometimes.

3, I don't really care for cars. Just a tool to get me to places
