Can I use Invisible Glass to clean car interior plastic?

Such as the plastic with the P R N D L 1 2 stick? The dashboard and everything else is vinyl, so I probably want to use something else on the vinyl. My go to is windex, but I've read on one website that said "windex is fine to use on car interior plastic" then I read an entirely different website that said, "windex is a big no-no, as it'll deteriorate the plastic over time"

So on the windex, I got two different answers.

Then I realized I have this Invisible Glass cleaner. Just wanted to see if anyone else has used it before, and if it's safe to use on car interior plastic. It's made by Stoner Car Care in Quarryville PA, Stonercarcare.com is their website.

Trouble with any sort of porous plastic surface is that the cleaning materials, and some of the stuff you're trying to remove, gets 'rubbed in'. I'm not sure what chemicals are in Windex now (it's got a different formulation and works much worse on glass now I find).

I use a cleaner that is very highly diluted ammonia to clean non-glass but you're probably better off using just water, or slightly soapy water, not any chemical cleaner.

@zonavar68 I ended up using these Armor All wipes, it seemed to do the trick for interior cleaning. Thanks for the help.
I always use windex on my kitchen counters.😂
I have that product and I would not use it on plastic. It will probably get absorbed and sunlight and heat will complete the damaging process. Armor all, a bit of Murphys oil soap in hot water and a clean sponge. Wipe. Use a rag to dry.

It’s pretty harsh to be used on upholstery like that. I would use a clean specific to the vinyl

@cherokeepatti Yea, I ended up using Armor All wipes and those seemed to do the trick for cleaning the interior of the car. Thanks for your help.
