Let's first establish that there is a difference between pop star and artist. The former has a short shelf life, and he probably turned to drugs to cope with aging out of relevance. Another sad part of the industry is these "stars" make the record moguls a huge amount of money and the star is left with little to nothing in the end. It's sad to see someone so young succumb to such a "dirty business."
Yes, but many, especially the young ones, have no idea what they are getting into, and once at the point of no return they have no clue how to get out.
But the brother didn't have those issues, and seem stable and Okey so his personality played a key role... He didn't seem to be ok mentally at all and well I guess it's different for eveyone
He was a young guy who began performing at age 6. He was around adult things and was in hollyweird. He got on drugs and alcohol early. He seemed like a decent person but struggled most of his life with his crazy demons. I wish his parents had instilled more structure to his life and not allowed so much influence so early. May God Rest His Soul
It really sucks. He had demons. It's the unfortunate cliché of the child actor having a hard time of it afterward. It's got to be hellish, never mind the money or fame, something must get really messed up. :(
Fame is free to a point but its how you deal with it and most cant I have no sympathy for those who over dose. I wouldnt want the fame part but id like the money part
