Politicians....real estate investors...drug dealers....small and big business owners... celebrities.... athletes...etc. Some of them are in my family. 😛 Anyway how many of you here have met a millionaire before. That means someone who has a million dollars or more. My last boss was one. And my store manager at Wendy's from way back in the days. Comments. Best answer wins. 😊 💰 💰
I come from a family of 1%ers. I have seen what money does to people and I refuse to collect material wealth. Money has no real intrinsic value, only the value we give it. Love, on the other hand, has only intrinsic value. Studies have shown that the wealthier people are, the less empathy they have. Money is what is wrong with the world, so I ask you, how many people do you know with truly loving hearts? They are the ones worth knowing.
Yeah, a few actually. A couple of musicians and a guy my hubs has done work for at his house...absolutely minted!
One of our friends won 1.6 million on a online bingo game about 6 years ago!! She still works, still lives in the same house but has had it renovated lots. Shes bought houses for her kids and has done many kind things for local people who were down on their luck. Its not changed her a bit.... except shes always on holiday now!!
yeah loads my neighbour is one my auntie is one the guy who i do work for regularly is worth over £100 m and hes the most down to earth guy youd ever meet
I worked for one in the late 80's. She had a cattle/sheep farm. She would regularly go to the bank and withdraw $10,000 at a time to ensure she always had cash on hand.
I have breakfast a couple of times a year with a guy I’ve known for 35+ years, I believe Forbes has his his net worth listed at $18 billion , just as common and down to earth as anyone I know
I understand what you are saying, but these rich people have the power to make a difference and they choose indulge in useless things instead of helping people that need help. I especially feel this way about those people in Washington.

@FenixGears Ok well My goal is never to change anyone's mind. I don't have the energy for that. I'm just here to exchange ideas. I don't think that rich people are any worse than others because as soon as a regular person becomes rich then they act rich. The only difference is situation
My boss. Also my boss's boss. A friend of mine married one. He's an ok guy. Was in their wedding. Got flewed out and everything. Lastly, many many family members.
Yes I have met alot of millionaires. I live in a big city and I used to work in a very rich area so I would sometimes meet professional athletes, musicians, CEOs of huge corporations. It was just a grocery store but they all shop too. One of my ex bosses is now most definitely a millionaire. She owns a bunch of pharmacies.
