Sorry but they all aren't that way! Most are good respectful people.

They (christians) have been repeating and rereading the same book, while changing it to suit their desires\needs for so long they dont recognize what repetition even is. And only have those 300ish pages to go on.

Robert Anton Wilson said "when dogma enters the mind all intellectual activity ceases". take science, the reason why science has progressed so much over the years is that it is always open to debate, to be rectified, changed, according to new evidence that might come along. science doesn't say "this is the immutable truth" , science says " this is the best theory we have up to know, until we come up with an even better one". I think its toxic for the human intellect to be thought that a certain idea is the absolute truth, I find it sad that adults corrupt young people with their dogmatic belief systems. most "religious" people have never known freedom of thinking, whatever their belief system is it was most likely imprinted on their minds when they were still too young to question it and then spend their life convincing themselves that they hold the absolute truth. very sad. Aleister Crowley also had an interesting quote" I slept with faith and found a corpse in my arms on awakening, I danced all night with doubt and found her a virgin in the morning".

I don't think religious people have the monopoly on dumbness or repetitiveness.........🤔

Why are the anti-religious people on here so objectionable and repetitive? (For the avoidance of doubt, I’m an atheist, but I’m not ant-religious.)
