If you are home alone and scared

Do you hide under your blanket thinking it's some kind of protection ?
Starsandfire · 31-35, F
It's well known that demons/ghosts/murderers can't actually get through blankets. Confuses the heck outta them.
Longpatrol · 31-35, M
31 years old, still scared of the dark. YES.
Nanori · F
@Longpatrol omgggggg when did u turn 31? Waaiiiit
Longpatrol · 31-35, M

cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
No, I get my phone and keep it with me.
4meAndyou · F
Nope. If I am REALLY scared I pull out the 14" knife. If I have heard something outside, (like someone trying my door or window), I have already called 911.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@4meAndyou I’ve got one of those, and a machete I’ve hidden under furniture in my bedroom.
Gangstress · 41-45, F
I normally sit on the door step and wait for the mrs to come home
Oster1 · M
@Gangstress Awwww, you are sweeter than honey! xxx🤗❤️💐
Gangstress · 41-45, F
@Oster1 🤗🤗❤ lol I'm not sitting inside being scared lol
Oster1 · M
@Gangstress Just know that I got the best feeling, reading your comment sitting on the door step. I've been extremely busy but I miss you both, dearly. Have a very lovely Friday and weekend!
❤️💚🤗🤗🤗🌷xxx
Thats what my blankets are there for
Iwillwait · M
Are you suggesting it's not!? 😤
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
If I am home & alone and a tornado is headed this way and I’m a-scared I get into the hallway linen closet and hide in there.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Gangstress all folded up in there with my cell phone is a good time to pray too.
Gangstress · 41-45, F
@cherokeepatti id be doing the same! X
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Gangstress the last time it sounded Iike a train up in the sky. When I got out of the closet I walked around in the yard to see if I could find anything it dropped, only a small piece of insulation….it had hit an area before lifting up and going over this city and then set back down east of town by the lake.

I’d go in my closet where the gun is
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Keepitsimple that’s what a 12-year old girl in Oklahoma did. She was home alone because she was sick and her mother was working. Her mom told her to keep the doors locked and call her if she needed anything. The girl heard someone rattling the doorknob on the front door and called her mother. Her mother told her to get into the closet but to get her gun (carefully) out of the nightstand and bring it with her, it was loaded, she told her to get inside and hold the gun and not to use it unless someone came & opened the closet door. The mother had 9-11 called and was talking to her too and the guy came into the bedroom opened the door and the girl blasted him. She didn’t kill him and he ran off. The police came quickly and followed the blood path to where he was and took him into questioning. Asked him why he was in the house and he gave them a story that he was hungry & homeless & was looking for something to eat. They asked him why he didn’t go to the kitchen and get food but instead when into a bedroom and opened the closet door. Then they found out he had been involved with a young woman who was legally and adult but developmentally delayed with the mind much younger than her age and had taken her off overnight where she was reported missing. They hadn’t put charges on him because it seemed the woman went missing but she didn’t have an adult mind either. Anyway the 12-year old made sure he got caught & charged for that home invasion.

@cherokeepatti Wow! that girl did a great job protecting herself and getting a dirtbag off the street. I hope she’s proud of herself 🤗
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Keepitsimple I was proud of her and laughed that at how that guy got caught. POS prowling around and I bet he was watching her house and saw that she didn’t leave for school. It wasn’t an ordinary thief burglary to rob the house that’s for sure, they’ll go for the valuables when they do that and then get the hell out.
I don’t recall ever being scared in my home.
SW-User
No. I storm the situation.
I'm always ready.
HazyDayz · 36-40
I get my doggos 🥰
Nanori · F
Yes (゚ー゚)
SW-User
I hide under the bed. The monster that lives under there said he'd protect me
@SW-User Lucky. I scared all mine away ☹️
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@SW-User Now that I have an adjustable bed I could raise it up high and hide under it. But that’d be silly because it being high up like that would make it a little obvious.
