How do I let her go?

I feel so guilty because I told her I'd pay her tuition for the upcoming semester but then again, it feels like she's just using me for the benefits.

I’ve recently gotten out of a heartbreaking situation (long story). I looked into the psychology of how to get over heartbreak and it has actually helped. The more you interact, the stronger you build a bond, and the more it hurts. I had to go cold turkey. It may sound harsh, but I blocked him on everything and I finally started improving, as I had relapsed bad back into me ED and addiction.

If that person wanted you, they would have been with you no matter what. You have to protect your sanity and cut them off. It’s the only way. You have to be kind to yourself and allowing yourself to be in pain for someone who doesn’t return that love, is basically self harm.

@MorbidCynic this is something I felt like I really and truly needed to hear.

Maybe she is, maybe she isn't. If you're not comfortable with the relationship, end it. You aren't her bank. She can go get a student loan like everyone else does.

Please don't invest in someone who doesn't love you. She sounds like she's taking advantage of your kindness.😔

If you feel used, you don't owe her anything.
