Do you feel it was really mean and harsh of him to beat me and make fun of me like that?

Please don't laugh at me or make fun of me as I am kinda embarrassed about it. Today again in college, the guy named Sahil in my class asked me for snacks but I said him no so he started threatening me but as usual I stood my ground and showed him my fist and he began punching me hard near my shoulder. He gave 4-5 punches to me. But I ended up screaming noooooooooo in a really high pitched voice which made him and his friends laugh at me. I was still trying to bluff at him showing my fist but he was saying me to come forward to punch him. But I wasn't fully confident for going forward to punch him as he is the tallest in our class at height of 6'2 and I am 5'8 or 5'8.5 and also his punches are really hard and I was scared that he might punch my face or back. He literally started saying "you are such a p*ssy". I tried to punch him but I didn't really punch him and he was saying "stop being such a p*ssy and fight like a man". But I just wasn't brave enough so I kept on just trying to bluff at him and he and his friends were laughing at me. At last he started calling me "p*ssy! p*ssy!" and also said he would call me by saying "psssss psssssss".
