Consequences of not paying a fine

So November last year i got pulled over cause my car registration was expired. Anyway the ticket was $197.00. I paid it off a few days later.

My question is, what happens if that traffic ticket wasn't paid? Is that when you get a warrant out for arrest?

The way my dad explained it to me is, if a cop happens to pull you over again, they'll scan in your license and see that you have an unpaid ticket... and will be far more likely to arrest you instead of just letting you off with a citation. IDK if that's true.

Simple. In New South Wales Australia if you fail to pay a fine, your drivers licence will be suspended and all other vehicles under your name will be also suspended. The next step id the NSW Government will issues a garnishee order to take the money automatically from your bank account
Each state handles it differently. But most likely suspended license, additional fines and if you’re stopped again, burly men in blue use you as their play thing and then throw you in jail 😆
In Australia they cancel your car registration and your licence.. and don’t tell you.. next time you get pulled over. Your up for $thousands of dollars in fines
Your license gets suspended. At least that’s what the deal is in NJ.
