What’s the longest you’ve ever owned (and actually used) the same vehicle?

My dad's motorcycle. We've had this for 30 years now.


I rode in it as a kid. But I've been using it for the past decade now.

Red 2000 Toyota echo in 2001, stick shift. Had it almost new for six years. Only had 40 thousand miles new still under manufacturers warranty. Someone totalled it six years later by rear-ending it. Fortunately all four passengers got out without a scratch. Never could locate the person who rear-ended it. False everything, even insurance.

My truck just turned 12. Aside from old sports cars where "actually used" is debatable, that's it.

A 1980 Volkswagen Rabbit bought used in 1983 that I drove for 23 years.

17yrs and 180K miles, a Toyota only changed cuz gov were paying £2000 for scrapping
