@JimboSaturn I’ve only stopped at the restaurant once in all the times I’ve been there. I thought it was good but I don’t remember what I ate
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@Jenny1234 That's my favourite part lol
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
I’ve come to realize I hate IKEA’s style But I like to walk around the store for some reason.
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
@Lacemaker it’s cheap stuff but I think I’m fascinated with how they run the store and the fact that it has a restaurant I guess.
Lacemaker · 41-45, F
@Keepitsimple Yes, it's a one-off. It made someone a billionaire anyway 💰💰💰
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
@Lacemaker for sure..it’s something different that nobody has bothered to copy.

Everything 😏🤣..I avoid the place now
DragonFruit · 61-69, M
I don't visit IKEA.
OldBrit · 61-69, M
IKEA trips demand a plan even to bin numbers. In and out no looking about etc my son and I once managed less than 20 mins to get a desk and wardrobe
CookieCrumbs · F
@OldBrit
I do the same thing. I check the website to get the aisle-bin number.
But- I enjoy looking around. 😁

Last time I visited the item I wanted, a chair, was on display, yet out of stock.
A lot of things were out of stock due to pandemic shortages.

I do not think the one in the box is broken. I am just lazy.
The bubby one needs new pads. The leathery covering (not sure if is is real leather) is bad. I suspect the only fix is just to replace them. The metal and plastic parts are fine. The broken one has good pads just bad plastic parts. Those would need replacing. The metal parts are fine, though.
My new one has no pads to bubble.

The first two look like this:
Except the first one has a lot of the black covering of the pads peeled off. Once it bubbled I peeled it off like sunburned skin! The second one is broken in the back rear of the armrests (before I said the top. I was mistaken).
I do not have a photo of the new one since I do not even recall what it looks like and am too lazy to get up now and look at the box.

The secret is to walk as fast as you can and just look at the ground, with your eyes just high enough to see the "how do I get out of here" signs.
