@nightjourney Watch out for that revolving door!
Lilymoon · F
Why would you want to go to jail?? 😦
Synyster · 51-55, M
@Lilymoon

You don't go to jail for unpaid fines. It's only a license suspension.
Lilymoon · F
@Synyster yeah sounds a little harsh lol

Don’t do that dummy

@nightjourney try to get a temporary job, one of those places that send you everywhere and they pay daily.

Like “ labor finders” for example.

Apply for TANF as soon as you can. It is temporary government assistance. Temporary assistance for needy families. The govt will send you small checks like $100 a month and will give you resources (transportation means/bus routes/ maps also) to find a job fast

I used this when I first moved to Florida. There are employees who will walk you through and help you with everything! 🙂
Never have.
I think jail would be nasty🤢

You can't go to jail for not paying your fines. They can charge you with contempt for not obeying a court order to pay fines which then can carry a jail sentence.

@DeluxedEdition I absconded for 2 years. I didn't realize probation was a serious thing. I got 2 probation violations and 2 months in jail for my 2 years of not giving af.
morrgin · F
@DeluxedEdition most were on parole and not probation
TurtlePink · 22-25, F
They can’t catch me even if they caught me 🤪🤪Lol jk. But to answer your question no I haven’t been convicted of any criminal offense

@nightjourney I got that part.
Had to connect to my VPN to talk about this.

When I was 15 I plead guilty to hacking my old apartment complexes computers and "Criminal mischief"

The cases were sealed and then ultimately expunged.

But yeah I learned how to not get caught again from the experience. Lesson: Make every mistake you make when you're too young for them to really go hard on you.

@nightjourney well we able to touch the machines themselves and someone I guess rifled through c:/program files with explorer and searched for every program that was installed until they found Fortress grand as it's security software from which point all I really had to do was do research to see if anyone else had reverse engineered it already, which it turns out they had.

just downloaded a very basic piece of software. In the top corner of it's password screen it had 6 digits and from that you were able to generate a backdoor password but someone had actually reverse engineered the process so I just ran home and entered those 6 digits and then ran back and we were in.

You'd be amazed at what you can actually do without ever writing a line of code yourself, and I mean of course if you REALLY Want to get good you have to learn how to program otherwise stay a script kiddie like I've been for years.

I had a bit of help but not a whole lot and I can hazard a guess as to how they Diagnosed that it was fortress grand that was screwing with us.

I also just plugged in a boot disk on one of them and used MS-DOS to Delete the folder, which was a mistake in retrospect because it's part of how the management figured out they'd been hacked in the first place because the BIOS spat up error messages as it had basically inserted it's code deep into the operating system and boot process.

Lesson: Next time you Have to use dos to Disable something like Net Nanny just RENAME IT.

Within a YEAR I was loaned a machine by my School a laptop to do class work and I simply renamed the folder containing the censorship software.

Had unrestricted internet access from there on out, Also used Evidence eliminator I believe to just purge the system of all the temp files from the content I accessed and then uninstalled it.

When I returned it to them I simply renamed it back to Net Nanny. the truth of the matter is clever kids like me stand on the shoulders of giants we rarely replicate efforts if someone else has done the hard work already why bother?

also don't be a pussy, don't fear the command line.

@travelguy01 'Ours is very loud! I know what hell sounds like. Loud people 24-7. PS. If I was a nark, I would plant myself in jail! The loosest lips in existence!
Never. And I would never want to go to jail, not for any reason. It’s too easy to end up dead over something stupid.
empanadas · 31-35, M
Naw, once you go to jail you won't come out the same. Just pay

@nightjourney yep but they sugar coat it
Oberon1 · 61-69, M
@empanadas Prisons, and sometimes jails, are college for criminals. Portugal has the solution, but they are a bit too 'woke' with it. There are no simple solutions, only intelligent alternatives.
The problem with any two ideas is that they are both wrong.
