No, if that is not your choice..

No everyone or at least a lot of people go through this phase. Life is changing for you. You are growing older. Just focus on building up yourself.

@Abdulmalik dude, your problem is you just sit there and wait them to come to you. go out and find them. go to festivals, go to parties, go to bars, go other schools campuses, get a life. good thing is you still got bros around you, take 2 of them, who thinks like you, and lead to target rich environments and have fun. it is that simple. I'm out bro

If you allow yourself to

Maybe we should have high school for adults. A whole day to just mingle, in groups of thirty or so.
Crypitika · 36-40, M
Nope. You have plenty of time I just turned 37, and am getting married my first time in December.
BlueVeins · 22-25
It's easy to have a robust social life in high school 'cause you see the same people day in and day out, and you don't have such strained relations with them because you're not actually collaborating with them most of the time. Maybe you just need to find a hobby or some kind of social group where you can meet up with the same people all the time and go from there.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
Perhaps you're going about it all wrong.
crimsoncloves · 31-35, F
You are still relatively really young. I’m pushing 30 and my boyfriend (let’s be real though, he’s at a level beyond that) is pushing 40. Sometimes things take time and it sucks ass but it can be so worth it.

@Abdulmalik I totally get it. And I’m not going to pretend like that relationship to work doesn’t continue - it totally has for both of us. All I’m saying is a lot of shit can happen in just a couple years so it ain’t worth throwing in the towel like I was about to do before I met Mike.

@Abdulmalik You are that young, but you just can't see it yet. I went through the exact same feelings at your age. Life can turn around very quickly, even when it seems there's no hope in sight.

Were you enjoying life as a teenager? A big aspect is to live a life that means something to you. When people see you doing that, they are more willing to come along for the ride.

If you have to wait for them to make something of your life, then what they see ahead is simply work.

Even if you get married, you could still die alone.
