@SilkandLace2 Actually, it was from 1966. And an additional fun fact: Adam West was considered for the role of James Bond in the 1969 film, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, but turned it down, saying he "believes the role should go to someone British."
I liked Ben Affleck the best. Christian Bale is overacting that character. Keaton was alright for the era but Jack Nicholson stole the show and who thought Keaton was fit to play the vulture? Dear god..the vulture is 75 year old dude living in a retirement home in the comics
Ben Affleck did fine as batman, not his fault the movie was bad. Christian Bale was overshadowed by the awesome performances of it's villains and unfortunately Adam West was not an option :(
George Clooney has bat nips, bat ass and bat credit card and for those reasons alone it's my fave. :D
@Sidewinder i hear you, it's still Keaton for me, '89 was just a great time in my life, and that movie was just amazing back then(and still!) Adam West is just, well Adam West, that TV series and the goofy movie are classics and for me occupy a place of their own; on another note, "Sparkle Boy" did a great job in the newest, "The Batman",, i had heard it was really good, and i was really surprised that it was, finally seeing it over the weekend, fantastic, somehow a bit grittier even than my #2 Christian Bale, loved it!!
@SilkandLace2 I have so much fond memories of me rewinding the vhs tape of the 89 movie. And listening to the soundtrack. It definitely shaped me. I know that’s weird to say but it certainly did
I never liked the original Batman TV series, but I saw all the movies with Christian Bale and they were a revelation to me. They changed my mind about Batman entirely.
