Something similar happened to me when I first joined SW. Some people are so persistent, and they either don't read the bio or don't care. I deleted most of the info from my profile and no more problems.

The other thing I forgot to mention is I've observed that some kinds of people take what's in your bio as a challenge.

Some are reactionary. They do this to get a reaction. Blocking really doesn't bother them.

Ignoring them actually does bother them since no reaction came.

Not saying you should have blocked. Yet you did give a reaction by blocking him. Better would have to put that message in "Message requests" and ignore the message.

He won't know why you're not replying and that will bother him. 🙃😈

Not sure if you know this yet, but if someone messages you twice and you don't respond, they aren't able to send any more messages. Also, someone can't send you a pic unless you've replied to them at least once.

Obviously he didn't. Do people even [i]bother[/i] to do that before they decide to message others?

Some just don't care. They'll message nonsense like that on purpose. 😔
