God, I hate this time of year.
Seems my neighbors are really fond of the loud boom fireworks tonight. Makes me jump everytime. And I've got at least a week of this to go....

It's quite rude! It scares pets and I have also heard of many veterans that have PTSD from being in combat.
One year some idiot started a fire in my back yard from two doors down. Had to call the fire dept to put it out. The idiots kept setting them off until the fire dept went over and had to tell them to stop. Could have burned down my house!

@Noble I try very hard to not let people celebrating anything get under my skin, after all, I know I can get annoying on Halloween. If it was one or two nights, I'd be all right. But it just keeps going and going...

Well, fireworks are loud, and a bit startling, so I get it. @SarahAndSamantha
