@DeluxedEdition Everyone who has children should be forced to care for those children. The problem is children from South of th border are often unaccompanied, so what do we do? We can't take care of all the children in the world but we can take steps to reduce the amount of children coming here and that includes providing birth control & protection but also we need to coordinate with those governments to make things better in those countries so they won't have to send their kids here.
A lot of so called Christian Conservatives think we should just send them back to Mexico or Guatamala and let them deal with the children.

modern christians:
1:against universal healthcare which is obviously something Jesus would support
2:against helping immigrants, which is something Jesus would support
3:against environmentalist, which seems to me if you respect your creator you're gonna try to respect this amazing gift which is the earth.
4: against vegetarianism, which is both more compassionate to animals and better for the planet (I'm not vegetarian but still can recognize what is good about it)
conclusion: christianity was corrupted in its very beginning by the same roman emperor who commissioned the creation of the bible, which is also corrupt. the good within the bible is just to attract people to it and then the rest is corrupt. this religion should be about love, which was the message of Jesus, but its not, its about God giving humanity his only son to save us from original sin, which is complete non-sense and implies a blood-thirsty god, and the main ritual which is symbolic cannibalism of drinking the blood and eating the body of Jesus, complete non-sense.

@hippyjoe1955 With liberals, it's all about the votes. When those children become adults, they vote democrat. So, there's at least a strategy there, however callous it may be, lol.

@TheArbitrator Exactly. Bringing the kids to the US is not done on a humanitarian basis. It is to keep wages low and as you say future voters.
