Why do people say to you are you ok after someone passes I know they being concern. What are you supposed to say when they say that?

some people cope with death differently. I've always seen it as more an invitation to talk if you need to.

I say that to somebody here now...it’s just something we do so he knows I’m checking on him and concerned. I know he’s not ok, it’s just something we do is all.
