@JessicaVl do you have a recipe you can share with me? I’d love to try that
goliathtree · 56-60, M
You can make fried potatoes or you can boil and mash and can the mashed potatoes.
Potato caserole,

They aren't hurt,

I will make bread mostly and Sheppard pie and frozen everything.

@JessicaVl hmmm....potato bread! I didn’t think of that. :)
JessicaVl · F
@ImpeccablyImperfect Yes, with a hint of dried rosemary few, stuffed ones.
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
@JessicaVl good idea
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
You could go ahead and fix them into potato soup or whatever. Potatoes have high starch and water content so freezing them isn't going to make them taste great but you should be able to use them in potato soup or use them as a filler in a gravy to thicken it.

@Fungirlmmm haha true story....but this one’s on the hubs....haha He left them out in the truck! 😆
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
@ImpeccablyImperfect :) then he should lead the way in finding good freezer potato recipes. Tell him you are making quarantine freezer jam and anything frozen is going in it. Freezer potato jam. ;)
ImpeccablyImperfect · 51-55, F
@Fungirlmmm hahaha I might do that! 😉
ImpeccablyImperfect · 51-55, F
So I’m cutting up the ones which are still kind of firm, and I’m roasting them. I think I’ll just freeze them in bags to be pulled out for breakfast hash browns.
But the ones left are really quite mushy.
(The liquid in them froze and then thawed into a sloppy mess in the bag)

I think I might have to just chuck them. :(

I just thought I’d throw this question out there to see if anyone had some tasty idea! 😊
tallpowerhouseblonde · 31-35, F
No.You could take them back to the shop and complain about the poor standards of food they are selling.😂
Or re freeze the potatoes and throw them at passing cars.
I make no excuses for immature answers.
ImpeccablyImperfect · 51-55, F
Hahaha both good ideas!@tallpowerhouseblonde
I wish I was your neighbor lol I'd would take 5 lbs off your hands
YMITheWayIM · 46-50, M

Stuffed potato sandwiches?
ImpeccablyImperfect · 51-55, F
They’re really too mushy to be cutting and cooking. It’s kind of gross actually haha...I may have to just throw them out. @TheIncredibleHulka
TheIncredibleHulka · 31-35, F
@ImpeccablyImperfect that's sad. ☹️
James1956 · 61-69, M
Can you cook them and make mashed out of them ?
@James1956 10 lbs is a lot
James1956 · 61-69, M
True but then they could frozen for future use

@RadiantRuby
ImpeccablyImperfect · 51-55, F
