Before you feel an emotion you will have thought something.
If you are sad, start thinking happy or neutral things, you'll be amazed at how quickly you will learn how to treat and enjoy your emotions:)

@Ohbabe But sometimes emotions are unrealistic because the though we have had to create them is unrealistic. It is better to ignore those ones, so that we can understand and learn from the real ones.
To be sad all day means a series of thoughts is holding you in that emotion. One of those thoughts may be I am going to be sad all day.

Take super good care of yourself. You almost have to treat yourself like a baby.

Go to bed at a decent AND CONSISTENT time each day and let your body wake you up. I've become a huge hypocrite about that since the pandemic, but it's very important to emotional stability.
