What are you currently reading?

Are you a picky reader? I am. Finally found a good series. Been meaning to start it for...years actually. Tim Dorsey, funny stuff!

I've been trying desparately to restart book five in a series I have been reading since march. My old tablet's kindle app stopped updating last february and messed up, I could no longer load it to read, right in the exact middle. When I got a new smart phone, the first thing I did was install kindle and redownloaded the book, but have not been able to get past the last page I read, I guess because the screen may be tol small. I am on book five of the Marnie Baranuik Files, about a late 20's woman with psychic abilities that day sits for a Revenant (vampire), and their wacky adventures. The book is called Blightmare.

@lulaluboo Hardcopy books cost way too much anymore, specially with my reading addiction.

I just ran across a fun amateur sleuth series. The first book is about a down-on-her-luck young woman who is hired by a rich acquaintance to help him get back a magic item that someone stole from him in a MMORPG he plays. So far, it is screamingly funny. And by coincidence, although the first book hasn't come right out and said it yet, it's set in St. Louis, which is just a hop, skip and a jump away.

Haven’t had anything good in awhile. It’s been a bit since I started anything new. I need to get back to it

I really love funny books, but I haven't been looking for them lately. I adored the Shopaholics series about 15 years ago, by Sophie Kinsella. The guy who wrote Marley and Me is supposed to have a new book out that isn't sad, and is very funny.

The only book I have open...(bookmarked)...is one I have read before by Jim Butcher, the first in the series called Codex Alera. I just wanted to enjoy it again.
