Have You Ever Walked Into A Grocery Store And Bought Something You Thought Was The Meat Of An Animal... And It Wasn't?

The very powerful meat industry, has done and are attempting to pass laws forbidding the use of labels/words like "veggie burger" or "vegan hot dog" on plant-based products. They SAY that it is confusing or "deceptive" to consumers, even though every plant-based "meat" product has meatless plain as day somewhere on the front of the packaging.

@RogueLoner Yeah, that was a bit of an exaggeration there. I should surely have said "as big as" the "burger", "hot dog" or whatever on the label. 馃惍
