There was a man on EP that used to renovate old churches and schools into beautiful mansions. They were always interesting creations.

Absolutely. Some of them would make amazing homes.

@Peekaboo20 Not necessarily. Some of the older ones might be priced quite reasonably. Of course a lot depends on the location.

@LyricalOne Yes, if they're downtown.

@Peekaboo20 And if you're handy, you can pick up a fixer upper to bring down costs.

If I were rich I might start a church and call it Last Church of Wherever.

I've thought about buying old industrial buildings because I think their beautiful and would like to live in one. However I can't recall fantasizing about buying a church. There's nothing stopping you from buying a church and turning it into a home (other than money). The the servers that run the website archive.org are in a church. The founder of archive.org bought an old stone church for running the organization in.

I might live in one, but not buy. I don't want to own something that constantly reminds me of the religion I left.
There's one near where I live that has been turned into really nice modern apartments.
dinner theater! club!

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP It doesn't matter. Christianity is dying in Europe and most of North America.
@Peekaboo20 even if that were true, there are other parts of the world. Big ones
Peekaboo20 · 26-30, F
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP It is true. Christianity is steadily dropping in adherent % worldwide for the past half century. Check the world almanac.

Yes if it's one of those old stunning buildings
and then I'll have to burn sage bushes
and remove the unholy caught in the walls and floors
and the ghosts in the ceiling
