I used to be like that… like I wanted to pack my whole closet. Then I later decided to embrace the no-checkin luggage goal. 😂
I still check in one medium luggage and that’s already for H and myself. I only get half the space of a medium check in luggage + carry-on. This has made travelling so convenient and stress-free.
Dont forget to bring your summer dress and sexy strappy sandals! 😘 👒

@CookieCrumbs i keep a pair of Burmudas and slippers for an evening stroll. Always helps. At least for visiting the hotel lobby.

My husband doesn’t know how to travel light. I used to travel for work all the time, and had packing down to a science. I prefer checking a bag than hauling one through the airport. Plus, I’m short, so it’s hard getting it up and down from the overhead. However, traveling with a carryon is so much easier than lugging big suitcases! I had a large suitcase and a backpack for our recent 18-day vacation. My husband had a medium suitcase, a carryon, a backpack, and a duffle bag. 😄

I could survive with a backpack. And just in case it won't be enough, I'll have the perfect excuse to switch to a fully barbarian lifestyle
ur not ok and don’t try to tell me u r @Elessar
@deathfairy He’s so normal…
I mean all boys n men are stupidly frugal… let them be…then we have more money n space for our stuff. 🤫😝

I'm the opposite. I feel better with fewer suitcases.

I pack enough outfits (pair of pants or shorts, shirt, boxers, socks) for each day, plus a few extras. If the weather is mild, I will want both pants and shorts, and both short and long sleeve shirts, yet the ratios vary based on the forecast.
I also might want a jacket, a coat, a baseball cap, my cowboy hat, a hat with a chin strap for high wind, a winter cap, and winter gloves. Mountaintops can be cold!
I use what I want, and if I project a shortfall, I wash some in the sink, wring them out, and hang them to dry somewhere.
I do not bring a lot of other stuff, because I can just buy more if needed.

Women need options when it comes to outfits - dresses, skirts, trousers, blouses, shirts, tops, and and and.....
.... and we have not even started to talk about shoes, bags, belts and and and....

2 days or a week - i need a suitcase for check in baggage. I can never keep it below the 7 kg threshold limit here for cabin baggage!!
You need to upgrade to trunks, my dear…😉

It boils down to what essentials fit in one suitcase or carry-on. If it doesn't fit in that one suitcase you can buy it along the way. For the essentials start with a bathing suit, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, other toiletries and go from there until the suitcase is full.
My preference was a over-the-shoulder soft carry-on.

All of my girlfriends do/did a version of this. "Let's get away from it all......but bring 75% of what we own!" Whatevs.
Resistance is futile. I just look up stuff on my phone. And, I also lie about what time we have to leave, so as she's finished packing frivolous things we will ultimately never use, we're not late on top of that.

I’ve gotten very good at it over the years . Just one average size bag I can carryon, that's for 4 or 5 weeks . 😊. I’ll often just buy as I go and donate to good will before returning home 🏡
TheLordOfHell · 41-45
You wouldn't want to be there when I pack. I do it at the dead last minute, and sometimes that means on the same day I'm leaving
Oh!!! I’m so with you on that!!!! I only pack the day before…all my stuff is sorted but still hanging in the closet till the last day. 👍😄 @TheLordOfHell

@Vivaci Hahaha! Tis the life, no?
@TheLordOfHell It’s effortless…🥰

Sorry but that is not normal
i get it, you rather have everything you need than have to waste time buying it there. i rather be responsible for one suitcase. even a bag if possible.
Exactly!!! And you know how difficult it is to buy something you really really like! 😩 @deathfairy
