@Ethannuel haha yeh we did snowdonia a few years back but did it after a 12 mile cycle. It broke me lol
But we do a lot of cliff walks which helps. I really recommend it. Especially the inclines. Really works the lower half lol

@Gangstress North Wales is lovely! So is Scotland.

During Covid, a lot of people were angry they couldn’t go abroad . But it’s like, there’s plenty of places at home that are really nice.

@Ethannuel completely agree. We discovered some awesome places through lockdown

I would 100% LOVE to go cave diving.. The clarity of the water, the absolute stillness.. (the fact that I obviously wouldn't do it alone!)

@SW-User Agreed. The pictures of these underwater pools look totally mesmerising - it’s just the journey to get to them that bothers me!

@SW-User That’s wicked! Seeing old ships like that would be great - like little mementos from a time a lot of us will forget

I've literally been watching caving videos for the past few days and it's such a good rabbithole.
Actually the first creepypasta before that was a thing was called "Ted the caver" and it was a blog style horror story, really good actually.

I'll probably stick to trying climbing/bouldering, too claustrophobic for that shit.

Long ago I did a little bit around the caves of La Jolla. Didn't go very deep though. Back then they hadn't blocked off the entrances. Not possible for the last 40 years if I remember correctly.

I did once... not for me

There is a cave called Kings Cave by the locals in the town I grew up in. It was only accessible during low tide and went deep under the town. There were no tour signs or sign posts for it, And when a couple of teenagers got trapped under there when the tide came in the town council decided to cave in the entrance... The teenagers were fine, the council just didn't want to run the risk of it happening again.
My brother and I tried to go there, without our Parents permission. I fell off the cliff and ended up in the ER.
