Back to the cat shelter at the mountaintop, my quiet sanctuary...:) wow I've made it, that was a loooong long journey!

I will stay here for 3 weeks, then another couple of weeks at the camping, then back to hometown in Greek island for a couple of months... then then shall see.

But the coming winter, I am coming back here to spend the winter alone. Unless things change.

I am really wondering what is it that I am doing with my life, whilst other people are finding family, doing meaningful work, and other good stuff. I'm just a wanderer.

@Boeing it's a decision that everyone has to make... what we do

@Boeing Yes I have. My wife and I are retired and own a motorhome. 😎

@Musicman that is great, I know, I read some of you in the past:))

@Boeing It's not too late to start a family, you haven't quite skipped it yet. My wife was forty when she had our youngest.

But family is not compulsory, not every woman wants or needs to be a mother nor every man a father.

It looks peaceful.

doing meaningful work
For a large fraction of the world's population the only real meaning in the work they do is that it pays their bills and leaves enough money to take the occasional holiday.

and other good stuff
I don't think most of us do much 'good stuff'.

I'm just a wanderer.
You might well be a wanderer but don't put yourself down; you are not just a wanderer.

Your wanderings show us glimpses of parts of the world and ways of the world that we will never see for ourselves. Most of us are too wedded to our safe lives, homes, mortgages, wives, husbands, and children, to take the chances you take.

A disadvantage to wandering is that you probably aren't able to save money for the inevitable time when wandering becomes difficult because of age or infirmity. That would worry me.
