I got in the wrong car [I Was Raped]

I've always been embarrassed about my rape. I learned at school to never get in a stranger's car, but I did it. I'm thankful to be alive, but it messed with my head.

@adelinemeadow Everybody starts out little and dumb. They do okay unless they encounter a predator like you did.

it's not a crime to be young and naive. You are blameless. I look back over my life and see situations that would have ended very differently if I had encountered the wrong person.

The rapist committed the crime, not you.

If a rapist hadn’t been there you wouldn’t have been raped. The only cause for rape is the rapist that’s all. You have nothing to feel shame for.
