Deformed... The day is coming. The day she is supposed to get a phone call from a very important person telling her if the monster is going to get what he deserves. Her palms are sweaty. Every time the phone rings her heart skips a beat. She is trying to remember everything just in case she has to testify but she keeps getting snapshots of the nightmare. She remembers not hearing anything, not seeing his face while it was happening, floating out of her body, her vision becoming blurry. The world is so different now. It looks as if someone took a knife and chopped it to pieces; mutilated; an open wound; leaking out poison. Releasing it's own dose of lethal injection into this once beautiful world that she had. A world that has been taken; trapped in a fog. It is amazing what trauma can do to the mind. The things it can make you see. This girl sees the world as she sees her own reflection; Deformed. Unrecognizable.....terrifying.
