Should every country have an 'Official Red-Light District?

This is a touchy subject for many reasons. To me the tragic downside is that many people are forced into these jobs. That would be best reason for this idea. To make sure only willing men and women are having sex for money.
It would still be a challenge to stop illegal prostitution, even with this type of offering everywhere.

Women for sale, like merchandise. Not a pretty image, and not something you can avoid, if you're out in Amsterdam's canal district. I once saw, in one of the windows, a woman, her mother and grandmother, displayed as a "special price" package.

I believe sex work should be legal and regulated to insure everyone's safety, and prevent exploitation, and sex trafficking, and pimping should be outlawed, but I have mixed feelings about putting women up for "sale", like pieces of meat.

I think that is one of those things most people agree on but does not happen. Damn politicians.
